Absolutely, I agree and always have. The Bush side didn't want to count the whole state, even when it was offered and re-offered, and now they are expertly skirting that and using their own refusal to accept a whole state recount as a valid justification to deny Gore a selective county recount.

I am a layman, but this has got to be the slickest legal maneuvering I have ever seen.

I wonder if Gore had requested a statewide recount from the get go, what would the Bush legal team have done?
