I think the term Constitutional Crisis is a bit overstated. No matter what either one of the bozos Bush or Gore say, the Electors are chosen in December and CONGRESS must accept them or the House chooses the president and the Senate chooses the VP. It IS written down in the founding document and there will be no need of tanks in the streets, Clinton having the Red Phone until innauguration and then whomever
Congress chooses. The ultimate hilarity would Bush, Leibermann, all within the legal frame on our founding document. A mess, yes. A CRISIS!!! I don't think so.

Well I think we'd only have a "Constitutional Crisis" if the Florida Legislature gives the electors to Bush and the courts say it should go to Gore. You would have two branches of Florida state government in opposition to each other. Guess it would go to the Supreme Court then. This is unlikely, but it is a possibility.
