I made a little $$$ on PLUG, another fuel cell company, last year. But since I read in the WSJ about an offshore oil field in LA. actually REFILLING I haven't been too hot on alternative energy companies. This was the Eugene Island oil field that was first drilled, I think, in the 1970's but recently found to be back at about 2/3 of original proven reserves. They mentioned that some geologists think petroleum may be coming from closer to the earth's core and is only mixed with organic matter near the surface. Fascinating! But keep the ideas coming. Fuel cell/alternative energy IPO's have been common lately.
