That is incredible. In a hypothetical scenario, perhaps a person could use this 3% money to buy 6% T-bills for 6 months and then return the money, scalping 300 basis points (NB. I don't recommend this). Starting from a basis of zero, a 3% return on assets is an infinite return on equity. J. Meriwether would be proud. Scalability is the question and there must be a catch. I guess the catch is that this perpetual motion machine is not scalable--it is like getting a free personal-size bottle of Aussie hair treatment with your newspaper. They only give you one.
Perhaps I have received such an incredible offer, but I wouldn't know--all credit card offers go straight to the shredder.
