WOW! I can see the problem as a future bear trap for Bush based on the column,in today's NYTIMES, The Law by William Glaberson in an article called, "To Count or Not To Count? A Judge Ponders Competing Legal Standards."

I tried to copy the story to show to another friend in connection with the Seminole problem. It has to do with the Republicans who argued...."the only job of the court was to evaluate whether the county canvassing boards did their job without abusing their discretion in counting the ballots."

(Unfortunatley, something went wrong with the cursor so I'll have to log in to The NYTimes to copy the article again.)

...the Seminole case is not brought by Gore but bY Gerald Richman; a former Pres. of the Fla. BAR AND a attorney not to be lighty regasrded

I know. That's what they said on TV last week. The TV news anchor said that Gore would not touch the Seminole problem. although the Bush crowd will spend money to fight the Seminole case.

That was a long post.(gg) I'll have to break it down. I hope you and your daughter enjoyed the Garth Brooks concert! ggg

Cheers,

Mephisto

PS: Politics sound rough down there in Florida. I think I'll stay in the Pacific Northwest! (ggg)
