first, let me say that that is precisely what i am focused on.

but let me also say that perhaps the people who are slicing and dicing every little feature and rebate are people who are in for the short term. maybe this sort of scrutiny is important to them because they want to know who is going to be on top next quarter.

that's the only reason i can come up with for some of the hand-wringing i see here. i've seen some folks here change their mind on what they think is the best handheld (if there even is such a thing) every week. sometimes from one post to the next.

your call for seeing the big picture is for folks who are long term investors. many PALM holders fit this category.
