i've seen some folks here change their mind on what they think is the best handheld (if there even is such a thing) every week

Like others here, I've tried them all. The one I use every day is my lowly Palm IIIe. My sentiment WRT the stock changes with the price and with market conditions: $25 was cheap at the time, I went long, $50-60 felt pricey at the time and I sold. Missed both the top and the bottom, but no complaints.

I believe the economy and the market over the next 12 months will not support the sort of valuations we've grown accustomed to over the past couple of years, and it does not appear earnings will grow nearly as fast as revenues. That, much more than any threat from MSFT products, is what is keeping me from going long again at the current very high valuation.
