Patrick, Hyerczyk's book seems to get mixed reviews at best, I have not read it and have held off buying it for just that reason. But I don't know this to be the case.... what I've heard is anecdotal. And reading a book normally never kills anyone anyway -g-

Gopee Missed the Point, October 20, 2000 Reviewer: A reader from Boston, MA Mr. Gopee missed the point when he said the book was an insult to his intelligence and by implying that it was repetitive. The technique was not intended to fool anyone. The author intentionally wrote in the style of Gann. Remember that the author is not the publisher. If there was anything wrong with the writing style, then it would have been spotted during the editing process.
If you had read any of Gann's book, you'd have known that repetition is the key. Keep doing it over and over again until you get it right. You sound like a bitter trader who has had trouble with the simple rules. Almost all the "Gann traders" I know are always looking for the "master time factor' or some deep dark astrological secret. Too many traders today want the answers, but are not willing to study and spend time learning how to trade.

IT LACKS MPORTANT GANN TOOLS, July 17, 2000 Reviewer: Deonarine Gopee (see more about me) from Trinidad and Tobago (deonarine.gopee@usa.net) Whilst this book provides a useful idea about swing trading, it is extremely too repititive as there are many things writtenl over and over again tat could bore you to death. The only useful thing I have found is the quotes takenl from W.D. Gann master comodities course. Even though you learn about Gann angles, these are best taught with the use of the master squares to give the best trading result. Unfortnately, you cannot find a Gann square here

Insult to the readers intelligence, December 15, 1999 Reviewer: A reader from Australia While this promises to be helpful in explaining Gann style, it proves to be mostly disappointing. The author clearly knows how to use the Copy and Paste commands in his word processor. Page after page is simply word for word repeat of previous pages. The explanations are identical word for word except he has interchanged Daily for Weekly for Monthly. The book could be cut in half and would not loose any content. About 15% of the book was helpful. The rest was an insult to my intelligence. There has to be better books around. Dont pay full price for it.

If you want a book on trading - buy another one !, May 24, 1999 Reviewer: A reader from Austria What promises a discussion of Gann Theory in Trading Systems turns out to be one of the biggest disappointments in the trading arena. The author deliberately withholds most of the important insights from the reader and justifies his doing by sarcastically pointing to a presumable loss in his advantage. If somebody is so afraid to write about his chosen theme why write at all ?
