I don't know of a good link that tells that, but I listened with rapt attention(even if I got it slightly wrong in my post you remember, and I did- but that's another story no one has called me on anyway- but it's straight here to the best of my knowledge).

Hentgartner based an argument saying he found more undervotes occuring in one column of chadded ballots than the other(trying to prove machine failure), partly on a '98 state election analysis. He and the Gore team had assumed a certain statewide candidate appeared in column one on the ballots, and another appeard in column two- and this was a basis of his analysis. But the Bush team showed him that both candidates appeared in the same column...which obviously tore Hentgartners analysis to shreds. Also, Hentgartner had offered this partly in a rough draft which indicating his clear but speculative conclusion required more information and research to be fully confirmed. Turned out the Gore team had included his draft in a submission to the FSC without his knowledge, and left out his caveat when they did, to boot. He didn't look pleased with Gore's team as he left the stand.
