Fear Not, Ray,

Sister Graciella is going to be holding tutorial sessions on Wednesday afternoons, right after Benediction. She's been tossing Light Reading articles around like catechism lessons lately.

Directionality. Amplifiers in coaxial systems can either be two-way, bi-directional or one-way, uni-directional. I thought that in the upper region of the spectrum on HFC systems the amps were only unidirectional, in the downstream direction. And I also thought that the very lowest regions of spectrum was the only region where bidirectionality was possible (except for the new 500-750 MHz split, which is reserved for digital program delivery and interactives). I guess I'm going to have to go do my homework again.
