LOL! I must commend you on the funniest post I have read all day. It prompts a little story, if you don't mind too much.

Having been a professional musician between 1966 and 1982, I was able to knock off more trim than the average mammal.

Way, way more. Probably more than you, but it's just a guess.

That was back when a trim error could be solved by some Qwell shampoo or some penicillin.

I wasn't the president of the United States of America, and I wasn't married during my Trim Encounters of the Very Close Kind.

The liberal point of view on these matters is based on an underlying presumption that 'Anyone would do the same thing if they had the opportunity'. You, like Arsenio Hall, Bill Clinton, and anyone else you want to bring up as an example, can use that presumption to trump any argument that I might make to the contrary, because the 'Anyone would do the same thing' argument assumes that 'anyone' has the same basic moral standards that you have.

The accepted liberal presumption from this is that those that do not Obtain All Trim are either mutants who couldn't get laid if they were carrying ten grand in cash at the Mustang Ranch, or religious fanatics whose units dried up in the Great Utah Sandstorm of 1899.

The truth is that there are some people that maintain the moral standards that you imply, and there are some people that don't. I feel qualified to argue against your assumption because I have the Excellent Trim Graduate Degree from my Wild Youth, and an understanding that at the time, I assumed that if it was OK for me to do what I was doing, it was OK for anyone else to do the same thing.

Slick broke the law. Tapdance around it as much as you want, the fact remains that he broke the law. He also lied to me. He's a bald faced liar, and he smiled while he did it on national television. I don't hate him for that. You can assume I do if you want, but I don't. The only conclusion I drew from his behaviour is that he is not capable, in my opinion, to be the leader of the free world. He's morally corrupt. That's my conclusion. I don't care what you say about how much trim he gets. He's corrupt. I got my poo straightened out, but he didn't, so he's not the guy that I want to lead me. I realized that my behaviour was not in the best interests of the people around me, and he has not, so he's not the guy I want to take orders from.

I think he's a criminal that has not been caught. I don't want a criminal leading me. I don't need it. Al Gore is the same way. In my mind, he's a criminal that has not been caught. He lost, but he's lost his mind, and his buddies are manufacturing an agenda designed to hoodwink his supporters so they remain antagonistic until the Next Great Trim Captain wins the Big Game for the Giffer. I know who created the economic stability we enjoy. You can blame it on Billy if you want, but don't try to pass your hash pipe hallucination over to me, dude, because I ain't buying it.

It's OK to say no to Monica. It doesn't mean you have a character flaw, it only means that you might not be a goddamned lying criminal dickhead, you might have a different idea about truth. That's all it means.

With all due respect.
