It seems to me that the Lycos CEO would want to step in at this point, and start some serious spending to bolster software support AND equipment. The general consensus seems to be that they have an excellent product but an inferior data feed AND an unreliable system of handling that data feed. Some cash and intelligent use of it can solve these problems. Anybody have any idea whether these people are making money? How many customers they have? I suppose one concern is that if they are losing cash and can't at some point bump their charges (when they get more reliable output) they could pull the plug?
