bob...."dell..zoo analyst"

i try to look at that which i can see....the usa market price cutting and deals are becoming more frequent...this is not good for a jit/bto business model...it indicates a desire to grow at any cost, with potential margin shrinkage to attain growth....no different then the rebates in the auto industry....once you lower a price or offer a deal, the consumer will wait for these deals to purchase....

dell has had not as much success in non english speaking markets....much to the chagrin of dj smyth and whose retort of "chinese whores", of my comment on dell china....from a very reliable dell source in china, who was hired due to ethnicity, there is a great deal of turmoil as dell usa is attempting to force methods of sales and marketing which aren't embraced in the country....maybe the same reason why europe is weak....

american companies, especially successful ones, tend to believe that what made them successful in the usa must work in any market....this is far from reality...to succeed in international markets you must blend with the culture...
