Crosskeys sees net loss in second quarter

MONDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2000 9:04:00 AM EST
TORONTO, Dec 4 (Reuters) - CrossKeys Systems Corp. CKY CKEY said on Monday that the inability to complete a number of key deals will result in lower revenues and a net loss in its second quarter ended Dec. 3.

The Internet software maker said in a release that it expects a net loss of between C$12.3 million ($8 million) and C$14.3 million, or 64 Canadian cents to 75 Canadian cents a share, on revenue of between C$4.2 million and C$4.7 million.

As a result of the continued losses the company expects to take a one-time charge to write off deferred tax assets on the balance sheet.
