Arete Outdoors Reports Sales in November

BOULDER, Colo., Dec 4, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Arete Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AREE) management today announced the first sales of Arete Outdoors' two flagship products during November, marking the emergence of the company from the development stage into full operational mode.

During November, the company began manufacturing and delivering its revolutionary SnowFangs(TM) snowshoes to individuals who ordered them over the company's website and to dealers and sales representatives.
Also, the company received its first shipment of production PowderRush Downhillers(TM) from its manufacturer in Taiwan and has delivered the first order to Copper Mountain Resort in the Colorado Ski Country for use in their Mountain Adventure Center.
