Politics ain't the only thing rough in Fla;.......i think i'll move to the Pacific Northwest asap...ggg.......ex)most Anglos simply can,t tell Cuban friends they thought Elian Gonzales should return to Cuba.....the price of that opinion is losing a friend.....the worst example is Kendall Coffey;former US atty. who probono joined the Elian team and was lead counsel spending 100s of hours trying to keep Elian here...he was even in the house at 5am when the Feds raided and took Elian ..........just recently Coffey joined the keep Gore legal team .......at the same time he was scheduled to be honored by the Cuban community for his ELIAN defense .....the honors dinner was abrutly cancelled because Coffey was representing Gore and to add insult to injury they have widely spread the rumor that Coffey only joined the Elian team so he could throw the case............and now they hate Coffey........well no good deed goes unpunished was the lesson our good samaritan learned............i will not further elaborate about THE FEW cuban democrats who were forced not to vote for Gore because of what Clinton and RENO DID TO Elian...but the best example is still babyfaced County Mayor; who goes on a county business trip to Spain everytime GORE COMES TO TOWN...just today's Herald contain a article where Pinellas denies the rumors he is becoming a Republican..........the intolerance to oppossing views that exists with this group has some paranoid individuals worried about bombs in their cars and other violence...while that is not at all justified you will lose a friend if you are openly for Elian being with his father...................on the other hand i have participated in confederate flag debate with African Americans and we walked away friends with oppossing views having a beer together and certainly are still friends with different opinions...........
