There are some natural stabilizers that will kick in.

The first is the dollar which is already retreating. That will help the trade gap and boost the economy. All those companies that were hurt by a weak Euro will report the opposite effect.

Second will be the decline in rates, already seen in bonds, that will boost the economy. The short end of the yield curve is the last and will respond to market forces. It is really the least important in its influence on the economy, IMO.
