Clever but does not seem appropriate to the issue. I thought dual processors split the work load if the program is designed for multi threading. Additionally, it was my impression that you could have one processor dedicated for specific tasks and the other processor for other tasks. I suspect I could take your analogy and redo it to fit my understanding but will pass on doing so.;)

I do agree with your basic point about the overall speed issue.
