Thanks Keith- the hacking part is also of interest- since I installed a firewall- this 'line' has been hacked or tested at critical levels a number of times- I didn't know whether this was a measurement problem of this particular software, or genuine hacks.- When I contacted CSW during my feed unstable period, they alerted me to the problem of firewalls stopping inflow of data, and sugeested I 'turn it to it's lowest setting ( range is Paranoid to Trusting) Excuse my low tech knowledge- but is ADSL the same as High speed digital phone - Sympatico in my case ( Kingston) Thanks for the response. This thread sure is helpful when dealing with these frustrating feed/service problems. Thanks again
