Singing in the rain, just singing in the rain. . . oh, excuse me . . . things are so quiet around here I found myself singing out loud (it keeps Seattleites from going nuts).

IDTI has been bouncing around in a trading range so I have been "going with the flow" and buying and selling for small gains. overall, the chart looks good as IDTI holds up better than most.

Analysts are mixed on the current outlook - both downgrades and upgrades are being voiced. I think the downgrades are ANALysts playing catch up. Yes, there are real concerns about market slowing. But IDTI is well positioned in many of the best market segments and the stock sufficiently discounted such that it is an excellent long term buy. Three major elements will effect the tech stocks going forward: there will be more earnings revisions and downgrades as we move into the earnings warning period. Year end tax selling will continue. The presidential circus will likely come to some conclusion within the next week or two. I think this will provide a relief rally, particularly if it coincides with the end of the tax selling period. Although the growth and earnings outlook for the tech sectors will probably stay cloudy for a few more months, the view going forward is likely to rebound from it's current depression.

In summary, I think this is a good time to buy, particularly on dips or as events warrant.
