BEDFORD, Mass., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Nextel Communications NXTL announced today that it has been chosen as the "Official Wireless Sponsor" of the National League of Cities Conference to be held in Boston December 5-9, 2000.

The City of Boston will be hosting the National League of Cities (NLC) Congress of Cities and Exposition and expects approximately 9,000 elected officials, national leaders and their families to attend this prestigious gathering.
