Hi Frank:

When I looked at the specs of WMUX's gigabit
Ethernet wireless Tsunami radios, it looked like
they needed 100MHz (as indicated by transmission).
So, at a 720Mb/sec, this suggest about 7bits/Hz/sec.
Since some excess bandwidth is needed, we are
probably talking about at least 256 QAM, and probably
512-QAM.

A few months ago, Rob Preuss posted a detailed analysis
of bit/Hz/sec performance of current and forthcoming
STXN's Altium radios.
