The main point of the article was that the big drug stores (Wallmart and Longs) are going to be getting more into the "mainstream health care," rather than just being traditional pill pushers.

It's true that the drug stores don't make any money from these in-house services and that they get a nice markup on the take-home kits, but they seem to like the idea of in-house services enough for Cholestech to sign Wallmart and AmeriSource up for "multimillion dollor contracts."

Re: "Burger King and McDonald's often locate by each other.." Maybe Cholestech should set up a booth near in these burger joints, or Chemtrak could package a kit with each "Happy Meal" and Large Coke...

...Nah, probably the wrong target customers...
