If a package of pro-growth policies were to be implemented, the economy would grow at such a rate that even the current Ponzi scheme that is SS could be sustained. These policies include reducing tax rates, reducing spending, and reducing onerous and largely counterproductive govm't regulations. It does not appear that the statist in the Democrat and Republican parties are ready to allow these policies to occur. This leaves us with the necessity of reforming SS to put it on a more sustainable and responsible basis. There are many dozens of great ideas out there for doing that. Perhaps you or someone else could start a thread to discuss them.
