3Com trading at cash value and way below book value. This is how stupid this market can get!!!!!

2nd. Quarter sales for their Commercial and Consumer Network Business will show a 5%-7% sequential increase over the first quarter. This sector has substantial long term growth and the company is investing accordingly.

****** Just remember the company has no debt, $2.7 Billion in cash, lots of investments and substantial assets. This does not include their patents in the emerging markets.******

Investing is a long term event and buying low is the name of the game. To buy below book value is a bargain, to buy at cash value is an opportunity of a life time. At these prices the company has an obligation to buy back as many shares as it can.

Of the 345 million outstanding shares the company could buy back 270 million shares at $10 a share, leaving them with only 75 million shares. That would leave them with zero debt and a business with a revenue run rate of approx. $3 Billion. This is just unbelievable, too good to be true. Good luck to all have been given the opportunity to buy at these prices, it will not last but while it does enjoy the chaos. This is when opportunity beckons those who are fortunate enough.

:)
