Cisco CEO Sees Aggressive Growth in 2001 smartmoney.com Chambers acknowledged that inventory levels are high at Cisco, which has fanned speculation that demand for its products is slowing, but he attributed the higher inventories to Cisco's desire to supply customers quickly. Cisco's ability to forecast inventory levels would "probably not get more accurate any time soon," he said.
