As they say, the USA is the "land of the fee and the home of the rave" And in Canada we have the best goverment money can buy. We must get rid of the vote splits brought on by the winner being the one with the most votes, and replace it with an over 50% majority to win. As it is now you can win with 25% if there are so many others with 10%, 12% 16% etc . They call it a first past the post system. And it favors small highly organised parties who get 99% of their voters out. The others get 35-55% out and so from time to time we get NDP governments elected with only about 25% of the total vote. And then ruination, like BC(still) and Ontario(now gone). It is a flaw that must be changed before we can ever improve the situation. Even now there is a move to get more debt from the socialists, can you imagine. Canada has 50% more debt per person than the USA, counting all levels of public debt. And has less per capita income and higher taxes. If it was not for the minerals and trees we get from free from nature, and sell for $ we would be absolutely broke. Bill
