Hmmm...

According to this page:

interactive.wsj.com

The new highs you were talking about are based on a weekly level, and although there was 306 new highs on the NYSE, you conveniently left out the 343 new lows. Oh, and for the Nasdaq it was 116 new highs vs. 1330 new lows. Quite the bull market.

And although this page (http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/wb.exe?Gall.web+$NYAD) shows that the NYSE AD line seemingly bottomed last March, it won't take much more of a down move to take it to new lows. Oh, and the NYSE cumulative breadth hit a low just last month, and we've been bouncing along that for a few weeks now.

Cheers,

Rich
