QCOM, TLAB, JDSU, CIEN up in after hours.. Lots up in after hours, hopefully option calls move up for tomorrow's open. I would not be out of the market at this time, just cautious. Still option calls are the best way to participate in market gains on the long side with a lot of leverage but without the risk to lots of capital. At this point, until the pre-earnings warnings come it, I would not be holding shorts overnight but doing all the short plays as daytrades. We are moving into oversold territory here and remember that when shorting oversold stocks that are on the bottom of the decline, the farther they are on the bottom, the more 'obvious' the short trade and the less likely they are to work out. ONIS puts will more than likely not do well tomorrow, but might move up in the midst of the session. We are in a holding pattern here, and a relief rally is what we need.
