Very few people are holding short positions. In fact we have been inching up the long side for the past few days although only with call options. Shorters know when to get out and by now with so many close calls and failed rallies we are ready for one that has staying power, however I would not fill my baskets with boatloads of longs or get overextended. No one will miss the boats, except those that are still invested and have to sit on their hands and wait for their money to 'come back' while traders and short term investors can enjoy a possible rise of the nasdaq from the ashes like a Phoenix.
