kumar, the independent benchmarks that NFS server venders use are very good indicators, as they have very strict rules, are agreed upon by the entire industry, and are verifiable. Without a common benchmark, independently verified, comparisons are meaningless.

Reliability is measured in real environments, however, and you are right about that.
