My folks use wood for heating exclusively. Its a warmer happier heat. Add a few green chunks of wood or a small branch of cedar and it will provide a little humidity and scents- a small atmosphere.... I cut lots and lots of cords and sure was happy to see him finally buy a pretty big wood splitter. The old laurel shrub hedges provides excellent hot 'coal' burning wood. I know that was/still is my job to trim and cut a very long hedge. They are so old and wide that we have to cut them down. (Just in case you might want to trim your hedges-) Are you a fan of Aislin (Terry Mosher). If so who is this in the editorial? (old) but curious?
