I saw Maria Cantwell on television as well. It appears that she will be an articulate and effective representative for her state. We shall see. You do know that the recount completed by the State of Washington on Friday was a MACHINE recount, not a recount by hand? Florida completed its mandatory machine recount within a week of the election. The Secretary of State of Washington followed the laws of his state regarding recount and certification. The Secretary of State of Florida followed the laws of her state. BTW, many counties in Washington state use the same machines used in southern Florida. Imagine that.
