Can you tell me what you mean by "full" and what you mean by "recount"? What ballots, and by what criteria?

That's a fair question.

I would like to see a full manual recount, as requested, in the counties Gore requested. Just do it. As far as criteria, it would be preferable if all 3 counties used the same criteria but that would have to be agreed to by the canvassing boards of the 3 counties, as Florida law leaves that up to each individual county. Screwy set up if you ask me, but that's how their election law is established.

Even more preferable would be a full manual recount across the state. With a uniform standard. Too bad Bush didn't go for that. I really wish he had.

I am very sincere when I say I would not want to be in Bush's shoes when all the ballots DO get counted under the Freedom of Information Act. They will be counted and the true result will be known. He best pray the tally is in his favor. Actually, with the prospect of full count after he is installed as President (assuming he prevails, of course) you would think he would realize it is in his best interest - as well as the best interest of the country - to do it now. Guess he's just grabbing it while the grabbing is good. That's a shame.

Please don't misunderstand this next statement because I do think people are responsible for themselves - as well as their vote, but it is interesting to say the least that Buchanan got 10 times more votes in Palm Beach County than there were registered Reform Party members. Kind of stands out, doesn't it? It's no wonder Gore chose that county (among the 3 he chose) for recount.
