You are obsessed with Sherry Fox. The pronoun "she" used as an adjective abutting the word "beast" carries a revealing sexual connotation -- but it is not Sherry who is revealed, Chris; it is you who are imagining a she-beast. It is your phrase, not hers, your thought, your image, your obsession, your imagination. There's a frisson in it for you-- and that frisson is why you do it.

Notice next time you write it, Chris -- she-beast -- that you're getting a cheap little thrill from the act; from the thought of it.

Are you allowed cheap thrills by scripture? Once you have recognized you're getting them?

Are you allowed to suppress the awareness that you are feeling a cheap thrill so you can continue to be excited by it?

You are excited by the phrase "she-beast," Chris. Admit it.
