Frank, what's happening right this instant will pale when compared to history. What do you think will happen to Bush's presidency and the Republican Party when the Freedom of Information Act will produce a count different than the one Bush decided to become president on? Both will be stained. Bush will serve his term in the certain misery of such a fate--particularly this day and age, what with the way media turns--and the GOP will suffer severe losses in the 2002 congressional elections. He'll become a one-term president and the Democrats, once again, will get a strong griphold on Congress.

Me? I'd prefer to see an America with four strong political parties and 80 percent or better of our citizenship participating in our electoral process.
