Dear Ellen: Yes, I read it. I would say to you that in fact the VOTE COUNT is what will decide the Presidency and not the courts. Please dont get confused by the Democrat Spin of count the votes. Over 180,000 votes were uncounted in Fla. and I believe I read over 2 million were not counted Nationally. This is not in any way unusual. What would be unusual would be to cherry pick 3 counties, change the rules as to what is a vote in the first place, badger ever vote counter by bombarding them with protests and somehow squeeze out a few hundred for Gore. That is the strategy. In Palm Beach County alone, where I live, the Gore team filed 3,000 objections to the vote count last week. If you have followed Judge Burton surely you must agree that he would certainly appear to be trying his level best to be honest and fair in his and his commissions decisions. All 3 by the way are Democrats and have no political reason to sway toward Bush, but I am proud to say that I believe Judge Burton acted in a Non Partisan way and I as a local voter appreciate that.
