EMC admits: "NAS is the storage connectivity choice"

Okay, so I left out their qualifications, shown below...

Note the how they weasel out of comparing themselves to NetApp by using the phrase "standard NAS file servers", which by definition exempts NetApp.

Many file-sharing applications, however, demand greater performance than standard NAS file servers can deliver over local- or wide-area networks.
