I disagree. Republicans did not like BUT ACCEPTED the fact that Clinton was not removed from office. GORE WILL ULTIMATELY BE MORE GRACIOUS THAN MANY REPUBLICANS WERE.

i think the first democrat lack of civility occurred with Bork and then with Thomas appointments to the SC. The Republicans were in denial about clinton from the get-go. They hated him.
