Vampires, Gold & Nat Gas...

Politics ,Race & Religion;a little Sports on occcassion along with some Oil & Gold of course.... and throw in a little Vampirism to top off the discussion... well; at least it doesn't get boring around here during mid-cycle shakeouts.

Anyway; for those so inclined - looks like the market likes the Election Debacle coming to a close; perhaps by the end of the week. Home Builders & cyclicals pricing in a likely Fed Cut and good possibility that the Fed goes to a neutral bias in December.

Tradeable "relief" rally building... but; imho it won't last.

This weather related Nat Gas spike could get some wind at its back here on this "relief" rally... good 5-10 day trading window opening.

Probably a nice 15-20 point OSX move; I'll play a bit, some calls for leverage - and look to get out quickly. Use tight trailing stops and exit at the first sign of exhaustion, or rollover. Don't be slow imo; in & out... have to think the wall is stil at OSX 120-25ish. I "aint" looking to be a hero here; give me the middle 65% of this little move and I'll be happy to take my "hit & run" money and head back to my bunker...

Fed is in a nasty trap; inflation is primarially a product of money supply & excess credit - so with $35 Oil & $7 Nat Gas; atop the most reckless corporate & consumer debt expansion in history (that's imploding credit quality-wise) let's ease credit, cut rates and increase money supply ~ giving the "addicts" even more "heroin"...

Yeah; that's just what this economy "really" needs ~ more credit, more money ... Prime the Fiat Presses one more time...

It's going to take another 6 mos for the broad market to bottom imo... the volatility & opportunities for trading will be here; albeit with a much less attractive risk vs reward environment.
