A couple of years or so ago, I found a mouse creeping very slowly across the front hallway, toward our bedroom. My husband threw it as far as he could into the woods. The next morning, that same mouse was staggering around on the back deck. I forget what happened to him after that.

Do you get the Sunday paper's Parade Magazine? There is a lovely picture inside of a little girl who is nice to snakes--lets them snuggle on her head....
