I'll blindfold and shoot him. That is so much better. Don't you remember several years ago when our now presumably deceased Blue brought in lots of mice and they multiplied and there was an entire community in our kitchen cabinets? I actually saw little eyes looking out at me when I got out my Tupperware. They would run through the house at night with the cats chasing them while we watched TV. A warm, domestic scene. Howevere, mice are apparently not into birth control or responsible parenting, and the kitchen was showing indications of overcrowding and urban decay, we called the pest control man. It was a very ugly scene. I will stop now, being overcome again with guilt and remorse. There surely were more merciful ways to evict.
