Kim Huffman Joins Arete Outdoors Team With Over 25 Years of Ski Industry Experience

BOULDER, Colo., Dec 5, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Arete Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AREE) today announced hiring Kim Huffman of Park City, Utah as Arete Outdoors' Products and Sales Manager/Director of Marketing.
Mr. Huffman comes to the Company with over 25 years of management experience having created and supported marketing and sales programs for major skiing manufacturers including Salomon North America; Marker USA; Kastle USA; his own company, ICE-USA; and Evolution Ski Company.

Mr. Huffman will begin by organizing an experienced team of senior-level regional sales representatives across the US and will direct corporate sales as well as international sales and licensing. Kim plans to bring in complementary products from third party manufacturers as either private label or exclusive distributorships through the company.
