I didn't feel sorry for her at all. I thought she handled herself as well as she could under the circumstances. I don't think that is why she appeared on the show- a woman like her isn't out to get people to "feel sorry" for her. She is used to being attacked by men and she has needed to have a lot more going for her than an ability to solicit pity.
I mentioned earlier the frequent reaction of even intelligent males to strong women-- a reaction that seeks to diminish the women in ways not related to their abilities or intelligence. That's what I disliked about O'Reilly's approach last night.

I am differentiating between his usual aggressive approach and his chauvinist approach to her. He doesn't call his men guests "darlin", which sends a message to women that disappointed me.
