NEW YORK (Reuters) - Consumer electronics retailer
RadioShack Corp. (NYSE:RSH - news) on Tuesday reported
higher November sales and forecast ``one of the strongest fourth
quarters in RadioShack history.''

Sales in November at company-owned stores open at least a
year rose 12 percent from a year earlier, led by sales of digital
home entertainment products.

Forth Worth, Texas-based RadioShack said it expects the
strong sales momentum to continue through December, ``giving
us one of the strongest fourth quarters in RadioShack history.''

Wall Street analysts on average are expecting the company to
report a fourth-quarter profit of 75 cents per share, up from 63
cents a year earlier, according to research firm First
Call/Thomson Financial.

Total retail sales for November, including sales to dealer and
franchise stores, rose 15 percent to $459.2 million.

RadioShack's year-to-date sales were up 15 percent to $3.92
billion. Year-to-date sales at stores open at least a year
increased 11 percent.
