Hi Tom,

It looks like UOPIX may recover a portion of the recent losses today. The NDX is currently up about 8.1% as I write this, so a 14-18% gain for UOPIX today is fathomable.

What level do you need to see in order to revisit the process of cash accretion in your UOPIX account? I believe you recently mentioned 70ish. I was wondering if it is possible to engineer a sort of "reverse Vealie" for periods of substantial declines like this? I know you have successfully used the "Vealie" to contain excessive selling during strong and extended uptrends, but is it also possible to say, "wow, we've gone a lot lower than AIM was prepared to handle, but since this is the new reality the account is in, should I start the process of cash accretion at X below what AIM is recommending?"

The only reason I ask is because we may be facing a VERY long period before UOPIX reaches a 70ish level again.

Please know that I am NOT attempting to challenge your methods at all. I'm just trying to look at all possibilities.
