Sigh..... I have answered this one before Hank. Rydex URSA, symbol RYURX. Compared to the Nasdaq Composite or CNXT so far this year, it is showing a gain that is better than cash or treasuries. It is going to take a hit today for this latest little bear market rally though...

Quoting from the fund's description:

"Investment Overview
Rydex Series Trust Ursa Fund - Investor Class seeks to provide investment results that inversely correlate with the performance of the S&P 500. The fund generally does not invest in traditional securities such as common stocks. Instead, it engages in investment techniques such as short sales, futures contracts, and options on futures contracts. The fund typically maintains a significant portion of assets in U.S. Treasury securities as cover for the investment techniques it employs. It seeks to achieve a close inverse correlation with the S&P 500, so that if the index should decrease by 5%, the fund would gain 5%. The fund is nondiversified."
