Still hoping the Florida Legislature makes its statement for self-determination by yanking the peoples' election from the courts-where it has no business being-and choosing the state's electors. This thread has gotten so wound up in the legal proceedings that it has neglected to be outraged by them.

Americans worship of lawyers and trials is a reflection of that latent desire that all people have to be dictated to, and that the Founders hoped the citizens of a free republic could overcome.

Once again, we see another parallel with the late Weimar German period, where the desire for "order" overrode all else.

I hope these liberals stay offended for a long, long time...
