Lexar seems to be in a great position with their ultra-fast controller technology and apparently-succussful design-around Sandisk's Patents. And you can bet that Memory Stick products will stay right there in the lead- already Sony's Palm OS PDA uses Memory Stick for playing movies. Sony may not generate a new standard with MS, but it still looks like it is a success in its own right. Sandisk might well consider branding/lisencing MS as I don't see any one removable flash standard becoming completely dominant.
