I will predict that we have similar tastes in film. You might be a bit more interested in the visual element, but its even too soon to say that.

"Fargo" is by far their best work. "Miller's Crossing" is another favorite. "Hudsucker" might have missed the mark, but I still like it. I have a golf buddy who's trademark phrase after a good shot is, "for the kids"-vbg- "Barton Fink" did not connect with me, and I have few thoughts regarding it.

"Sullivan's Travels" is a favorite film. I liked very much the scene where they show the films in jail. Lake had an almost modern presence. Bacall and Novak too.

Hanks did his best with "You've Got Mail", but you could only do so much with another retelling of the same Ephron tale. I did not like much about that movie except a few snappy lines. "Sleepless" was another film that was entertaining, but didn't leave me with much more than that. "When Harry Met Sally", is still a top favorite. My favorite line was on the movers tee shirt. Again another buddy uses this phrase as an "answer" to every question.

"Meditteraneo" is a good film, but not even close to Cinema. I have not seen the other two but will look for them soon.

I have not seen "Autumn Tale", but will add it to my list.
